  1. Hello, I cam across because I too love Laura Marling so I clicked on others who liked her and you came up on the first page. Your blog is really nice and so is your hair :D

  2. while i wouldn't say a body part is my best feature, i agree that my talents are not my favorite part of me. I am actually really good at math and science, yet those fields hold no interest for me.

  3. YES, TOTALLY.

Haha, I feel dumb indicating my agreement in such an inane statement but that's what I thought when I read this.

  5. That's a very sad statistic. My talents are very much what I like best about me.

Though I' ve always had a different slant on the world which has sometimes made things difficult.

Wish I liked my belly though! Parts of the world seep in whether you ant them to or not!

  6. hey, I do hope you'll get back into the history groove (I just made that term up, it will be a buzzword soon). I've been feeling a little discouraged lately as well, but then one good book about the past can totally change one's mind again. Right now, for me that's my favourite professor's work about the levanters; but the book that actually made me decide to take it all seriously, years ago, was a novel. W.G. Sebalds "The Emigrants". It taught me more about memory and how to deal with the past than Foucault or Hayden White. I recommend it. It made me embrace history.
